Another New Chapter in My Journey

Hello Wealthy Affiliate family,

It’s been a while since I last updated here. Life threw me some challenges. Poor health kept me away, and in the process I lost jobs. Age became another barrier when I was told I was “too old” for certain opportunities. On top of that, I’ve stepped into the role of caregiver for my mom, which makes full-time or even part-time work difficult.

But here’s the silver lining: recovery is underway, and with it comes clarity. In 2023, I published my book Shifting Paradigms: A Cancer Survivor's Journey of Holistic Healing. That project reminded me of the power of storytelling and the importance of sharing experiences that can uplift others.

This isn’t the first time I’ve walked the writer’s path. In the past, I worked as a scriptwriter for local TV shows in Singapore, served as a creative director, and built campaigns through copywriting. Alongside that, I’ve been blogging for years, and readers often tell me they enjoy my style. All of these experiences have shaped my voice and my approach to storytelling.

Now, I’ve decided to reignite my passion for writing and step fully into the role of author. I have several fiction story ideas waiting to be told, and I’ll be working on them whenever caregiving duties allow.

This is not just about writing books. It’s about embracing a revival of my career as an author, reclaiming creativity, and proving that it’s never too late to start again.

I look forward to sharing this journey with you, and I hope my story reminds anyone facing setbacks that new beginnings are always possible.
