Never Lose Hope
Yesterday I discovered that me grand niece was infected by this virus on a flight from London to Cape Town. She passed the temperature test at the Cape Town airport, but , being the great kid she is, decided to get herself tested as she was not feeling 100%, and she proved positive.
Now her whole immediate family are in isolation, and all have been tested, and are waitng for results.
She is fine, knitting blankets for charity, Her family are doing well, and are spending the time getting know each other better. They still have some time in isolation, and I am sure will come through this ordeal a closer family and better people.
I have leant from this that Panic is a huge negative, that hope is all we have to kling to, but in the meentime listen to ther proffesionals, wash hands, disinfect where possible, and take all precautions that you can.
There was a video from a small town in Italy, under shutdown, where people went out on their balconies, and were holding concerts etc from their apartments.That is the human spirit at work, not allowing life's challenges to win the day, but to overcome them and live again!

I love that positive vibe from Italy!!! I hope your family is ok. Stay away for now. We're doing a lot of Facetime and Zoom. I guess Zoom is an app for your phone. I hate putting all these apps on my phone but whatever works.

Best wishes for your family. You are right, the human spirit can be seen shining through during this trying time. Having contracted this virus and yet giving thought and time to charity is a mark of the character of your niece.
