I've been dragging my feet!

It has been a couple of months since I joined WA and I definitely have been dragging my feet. I have a few commitments with elderly relatives and I love my sewing, gardening, reading, craft work and life in general, so I have plenty of opportunities to deviate from my WA journey (procrastination!!).

I have also spent a lot of time doing personal development work on clearing my mindset, as I am sure that previous ventures that have fallen through have left a mark. When you invest a lot of yourself and your time into a project without seeing any result, it is a bit like "once bitten, twice shy" and I think it becomes a fear of (more) failure rather than a fear of success. I know many of you will have a similar story and can identify with these feelings and this procrastination mindset.

I had the very good fortune to meet up personally with a fellow WA member who has been the inspiration for me to settle on my first website and get some posts under my belt. The website - "Tiggi Loves Books" - has a subject that I love, have no difficulty writing posts for and therefore is a great basis for me to learn the basics which will hopefully then lead to bigger, better things in the future. I am extremely grateful to Marion for giving me the motivation to get over this initial hurdle and get cracking! The Law of Attraction states that the right person turns up for you at the right time. Thank you LOA.

I am finding the training by Kyle invaluable to guide me on the journey, plus the many articles that come up when I pop a question into the "ask your question here" box. I am aware that I can log-in to my Dashboard through the Site Rubix tag, but I was puzzled that I couldn't create my own Password for the WordPress site until I read a post by Kyle explaining that security was a priority at WA and that is why it is only possible to have the Password allotted to you which is a random selection of letters and numbers. A Password that is very, very unlikely to be discovered by hackers. When you know the reason for something, it makes sense.

Thanks to Kyle and Carson for the concern and the wisdom that is shared with all fellow WA members on their journey to success. Thanks also to all fellow WA members for their contribution to the continuing education of all and the sharing of their stories - some of the stories and WA members are amazing!

Cheers for now,

Jill
