Can you combine a Blog and a Website
I am looking forward to building my new site, but I want to combine a Blog and a Website and I'm not sure how to do it and if this this possible.
I suppose what I'm trying to create is a number of static pages and with a blog roll. Does anyone have any useful guidance on how to do this?
Can I link some of the content on the static pages to my blog roll for example using links or are there better ways to layout the static and changing content?
I have some ideas for the website static pages I just a bit stuck on have to weave in the blog content.

You don't "combine" a blog and a website.
A blog is hosted on a website.
WordPress allows you to build both static pages and blog articles.
You can choose between your front page showing your blog entries or a selected Home page. In the latter case, you'd provide access to your blog via a menu item.
