Hello, Somehow I accidentally opened two WA accounts using two different e-mails. I need to delete the secondary one. How do you delete a WA account that you do not want open
I would leave Kyle a message on their profile message to delete

After you have purchased your own domain from Site Domains, and after you have that site up and running as a blog site with affilate links, can you decide later that you want t
Yes you most certainly can.
A very popular and well developed Wordpress plugin for this is WooCommerce.
I would do a browser check to make sure your theme is compliant with woocommerce not all themes are written to integrate woocommerce easily.
You can indeed.
You may install the WooCommerce plugin which comes integrated with PayPal and Stripe payment gateways.
if you are going to do large sales, I'd recommend signing up with Stripe as opposed to PayPal.
PayPal seems to freeze large intake of revenue in a short while, that may effect your cash flow.
Hi - yes, you can. But ideally, you will need to continue to write blog posts, as that is how you will get ranked in Google's search engine results, otherwise, nobody will find you.
I hope you find it empowering. A lot of folk think there are rules around what you can do with your website. Other than illegal stuff, there aren't, only recommendations.
You can do this you just need a plugin to turn your WP site into an e commerce site
The plugin is called woo commerce
Barry
Oh, that is awesome. I already have Woo Commerce because it came with the theme that I purchased from Superb Themes. Thank you so much for the quick reply, Barry :)

When you update your Profile information on your website, you see a box where the address of your website is listed. I noticed that the default is "HTTP". I don't like that.
https:// is the only way to go now.
You may find that GoDaddy will charge you extra to use https:// many hosting copies do. WA does not.
If you decide to stay with WA you may want to consider transferring you existing GoDaddy website to WA. To do so I would contact Site Support so things go smoothly with the transfer. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
Thank you for the feedback. :)
I am not using GoDaddy's hosting service (called "Website + Marketing"). They offered a free 7 day trial, but I cancelled that.
I added my GoDaddy dot com site to WA on day 2 or 3. I did not use WA Site Support to accomplish that. Maybe that is why the SSL is in the "ON" position, but the WordPress Profile page was showing the "http" prefix instead of "https".
So, if I understand things correctly, I purchased the domain from GoDaddy, but WA is my host. When I go to "Site Manager", both of my websites are listed. I see activity in both the SiteRubix site and my dot com site. The dot com is already indexed.
Ok so GoDaddy holds the registration for your domain name. Make sure not to miss renewing. That works just fine.
So what you did was point the DNS for your domain name to WA servers .Primary: https://ns1.mywahosting.com
Secondary: https://ns2.mywahosting.com
That is just fine.
I would contact Site support if your URL is not https://and the SSL is On

That is perfectly normal. So is your content different on both sites? if yes, no problem. If NO and it is the same content, login into your siterubix.com website and check the discourage search engines from crawling this site box.
Siterubix.com website Wordpress backoffice scroll down left hand side to Settings (Not SEO) -> reading -> check the discourage search engines from crawling this site box.
You and I have been communicating back and forth on two blog posts
("Can you fix a high risk URL" and "Can you use https instead of http") ,
and somehow I think we are misunderstanding each other perhaps?
As of today, Sunday, May 8th, I only have one website. That's my GoDaddy site. Hosting for that site is through WA.
I no longer have the duplicate SiteRubix website. I deleted that website altogether.
I am still learning things from you every time you answer me, and I appreciate your feedback. Thank you.
if you are hosting your sites here, you get your ssl certificate for free...
going to websites>>sitemanager >>detail on the site and scrolling down you will find whether it is switched on...
mostly nowadays it is...
it is not a function of the domain you buy but added code that secures the transmission of data between computers....
so the ssl is an addon that some hosting providers make you buy, but with wa it is free...
the fact that there is a free one and this is what wa uses is irrelevant...
the indexed site should be the https version...
you can check in your analytics...
if you have added hte http property then yes you will need to add the https version...
i hope you manage to get it sorted
phil
I only use https now.
You can click details on the domain in question and put SiteSSL (HTTPS) to ON.
However if that's done and your website is still not secure, please reach out to site support.

Yes, thank you. My intention is to build my own DOT COM site first, and then start building SiteRubix websites until I can afford to transfer those over to their own dot com's. I had to abandon building my dot com for a few days due to problems with the theme I purchased, and was just building it on the SiteRubix instead.
Eventually, I decided to just delete the theme I paid for for my dot com and switch to the same theme that is being used in the training. So, now I am building two identical websites except for the web address.
Well, today when I saw that my DOT COM is already indexed, I asked myself why I am making extra work for myself. I am going to focus solely on the dot com site until it is doing well enough to start another niche site. I have a LOT of content to write for just the first website.
Not using their hosting for my dot com. I am using WA/SiteRubix for hosting the GoDaddy domain.
