Proper Business Protocol?
Hey everyone,
I need some input on proper business protocol.
Someone that opted into my email list sent me an advertisement after I sent him an email.
It seems like spamming and underhanded to me.
Is this an acceptable practice?
Thanks for your input!

If they spam you with their own offers I would just remove them from the email list so they don't waste your time.

An interesting, propostion, usually email marketing is one way traffic.
I guess we can't market to marketers, in this case they just market back.
A tactic that is emerging on LinkedIn, at the moment.
Probably the easiest option is to unsubscribe, that particular marketer.
Yes, that's what I wanted to do, but this person does not give an unsubscribe option.
So what do I do? Maybe wait for him to send another email and report him?
A sly way to advertise, for sure, but it's deceptive and disrespectful to optin into someone's list only to advertise to them.
