SEO vs PAID ADS (Passive vs Scalable)

Here’s my take on two (2) methods of traffic generation.

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) can become very time-consuming (agree?) And the reality is one day you can be on Page #1 and then the next day you can be gone. But if you create enough content, somebody will find you someday, but will they find you the next day. Granted SEO methods can generate passive income.

But so can paid ADS.

PAID ADS are scalable. when we are able to fine tune the Ads to spend $1 to earn $2 then scaling is possibly as simple as turning up the volume and spend more money.

And the income is RECURRING (and therefore PASSIVE) if the Product or Service is subscription based like Wealthy Affiliate membership.

I’m currently working on some creative and unorthodox ways of using $1 a Day Facebook AD (laser) targeting “Interests“ and “job titles“ or “exact age” and even “birth months” and “signs of the zodiac” or “geographic radius around a specific city”, so the AD copy immediately resonates with the audience.

Wish me luck 🍀

I welcome your comments, suggestions, or brainstorming and masterminding.

Good luck and I continue to work both strategies myself.

You have the right plan to drive traffic- SEO and paid ads. They go hand in hand. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Brad, interesting commentary. Correct me if I'm wrong, it seems that you are leaning more towards paid ads (PPC) than SEO.

My take is a bit different:

- SEO is organized to builds long-term, sustainable traffic, trust, and authority by earning organic rankings, making it more cost-effective over time but slower in building income at the beginning of one's journey into online marketing.

SEO, however, provides you with lasting growth, establishes authority, once you're patient (in it for the long haul), and want high ROI (Return on Investment) over time.

- Paid Ads (PPC), on the other hand, delivers instant, highly-targeted visibility and traffic which is ideal for quick promotions however it stops delivering once your money runs out. Basically its ability to perform depends on the size of your bank (mullah)

So, (my take) PPC is good where you want immediate traffic for a sale (i.e. special events), or want to test new markets quickly, or where money is tight (limited funds) and you have a small (tight cashflow) budget available for short bursts of leads.

For me - The Best Option is really to combine both of them! That is using paid ads (PPC) where you need immediate impact once you have the cash to sustain it. Whilst simultaneously (at the same time) investing in SEO for sustainable, long-term organic growth, thereby creating a strong, multi-faceted online presence.

Just saying ^_^ Cheers

My challenge with SEO is my interests, products and audiences change frequently.

I can’t keep a focus on. LOL 😝

I get you, however Brad, I'm now starting out, just like you I have a number of interest that plan to turn into websites, I do have one currently active websites and I have grabbed a number of domain names for the stuff I plan in the future, and i have loads of content already prepared, not all on WA
I don't have an audience as yet and you, just keep throw up so many different ideas, it's mindboggling sometimes.
But I'll get there. ^_^ Cheers

Best Wishes, and Good Fortune, Brad!
