Blog Posts VS Directory Listings
In the early days of blogging, I looked at each blog post as being a mini billboard out on the Internet super highway.
Now with the saturation of bloggers, it seems to be kidding too competitive.
What about directories?
Do the individual directory listings get ranked faster and better than blog post do?

I have built one of my sites using a directory backbone. I don't have any data to answer the question critically however my gut said that a promoting a directory makes sense. Looking forward to more experienced response.

If you are using directories as a list, my guess is no. The way to check that out is to see if the search term comes up in Jaaxy and check it in Google.
People are looking for specific help and solutions for problems more than they are lists.
There is still a need for rich content. The key is using keyword selection wisely.
My challenge for wise keyword selection, has always been getting inside of the mind of the person searching.
What word phrase are they using?
