The Journey of Finding Hope
About a month ago, after returning from the bookstore to purchase a book on how to start your own business, I had a full notepad and just started to dive right in. I'll be honest, the book was great and it could be one that I help promote in one of my next niche's, but we'll leave that for later on. I spent about 2 weeks doing nothing but writing ideas on paper and talking to friends on different aspects of "me" that would help me really take off on this idea I had.
Fast forward to about two weeks ago and here I am moving in a completely different direction, however probably one of the best decisions I've made so far. I work two jobs to try to make ends meet after just buying a house and that's still not enough. Creating a business plan or some type of work from home company is what I was really looking for when I stumbled across the website that has changed everything thus far. And now today, I'm a premium member of Wealthy Affiliate that has created my own website on the same business idea that I had originally started with (Leadership), except I'm miles ahead of where I thought I would be and only halfway through the book!
This experience thus far has been like going back to school for me, as I never considered myself a dumb person, but all of the education that Kyle and his team has provided has been insane. I don't know that many members of the community yet, but I can already see that everyone is out for everyone's success and the "Team" atmosphere is something that I've never seen before. I give a ton of credit to everyone in this community, and as difficult as it was to spend the money I don't have yet on the membership and my own domain, it was the best money I've spent so far and less than the cost of the book I bought!
I have no doubts that I will be successful, my only challenge will be to harness my thoughts and focus on one or two areas first. I want to promote this company in the Affiliate Bootcamp because of what I have learned and experienced in the extremely short time that I've been here. I'm not a tech expert on building a website, but I like to think that I'm excellent at giving feedback to others. Either way, the sky is the limit and I will not fail and I owe a ton of it to the team here at Wealthy Affiliate!
Thank you everyone for the support that I have received already, I just hope my writing skills can keep up with the amount of blogs and ideas that I have and want to use with this company!
