The Power of the Day

Last Update: April 25, 2016

Everyday we have a choice.
We can either forget the dream, or see and work toward the dream.

This choice is not easy. It's hard.

We have to continually remind ourselves of the vision we have. (If we don't have a vision we gotta get one.) Sometimes we will struggle to have the energy to do what we need to do. When we are faced with fatigue, depression, or doubt we need to remain committed, and accept the struggle.

There's no such thing as a perfect day, we have to be committed to working toward our goals, knowing that we will struggle. The hard truth is that we have to accept the struggle and the challenge.

We may want to trudge forward each day and make leaps and bounds, but this expectation is unrealistic and can lead to burnout. To survive the struggle that comes with persisting toward personal progression we must always first see and accept the struggle.

Your day may not be perfect, but do all you can to allow it to be persistent. Persistent toward your goals and dreams.

Make the effort, do what you can, and never give up.

One's outlook has the power to propel us forward. When we maintain the outlook we need to have, even on mentally cloudy days we maintain the journey toward the life we want.

I loved reading your blog post. It is very inspiring and definitely something I needed to read right now. I feel very distracted with my day to day tasks and duties. I have to remind myself to stay committed and work hard to reach my ultimate goals here. Nothing easy comes without hard work. You're right, never giving up is key.

Truly glad you enjoyed the post. It's something I find myself thinking about often. Never be too hard on yourself. See the room for improvement, but never expect instant change and success. I find myself having to continually reflect on my thinking and rethink my reasoning behind my feelings, thoughts, and moods. (For instance if I start my day frustrated, I have to remind myself that I still have plenty of time to make things happen that day etc.)

Thanks for you comment. I look forward to hearing from you in the future. And always appreciate your thoughts.
