Surprise!

Have you ever had a day where you chose not to look at your plans, or stare at your goals?

You just tried to remember your vision, and what you need to do to get there.

Have you ever had one of those days where you just face the fact that you can't control things, perfectly predict things, or escape the inevitable?

I was thinking today that it's pretty funny that there are so many surprises in life, after all surprises can become very predictable. You can see them coming if you just look closely. I think surprise is simply when what happens doesn't meet our expectations for what we thought should happen.

Do you ever have a day where you simply decided to allow for surprises, imperfects, and accept the struggles without being so hard on yourself?

It's Friday. Any action in the right direction is just plain awesome. After all it's hard to think straight when everything is on your mind. After all when you don't do that regular 9-5 thing, you are kinda left thinking;

"How did the week go?"

"Have I been productive?"

"What am I doing to improve?"

"How should I feel going into next week?" etc.

Today I realize that things weren't going to be perfect, and what matters most is that I'm working toward improvement. So instead of getting mad at myself, I'm trying to just be merciful and let myself of the mental hook of self analysis paralysis.

Moral of the story is... surprises are to be expected.

Sometimes surprises and challenges are confused with each other.

And sometimes you have to remember to not let the mental mess get to you.

Just breath, move, talk, eat, and think, but don't get confused.

See the vision, but don't let it's size crush you.
