Repetition and The Effort to Become

Sometimes we have to remember that repetition is our friend. Although frustrating at times, repetition is a key to success.

To hear something once, see something once, or do something once, doesn't mean much to us. We struggle to remember and learn from one time experiences. We learn best from those experiences that are repeated.

This applies to everything in life. When we were little kids we struggled to figure out how to dress ourselves in the morning. But over time and continual effort we got so good a dressing ourselves that we probably don't even remember the original lesson.

If you find yourself having to go back and relearn something give yourself a pat on the back. The willingness to repeat something in an effort to learn something is in full defiance of average. Those who are average give up when the don't understand, you're not like that you understand the importance of learning.

Never fear to repeat things in the effort to learn and understand. These efforts will help you to learn what it takes to become who you truly want to be.

Here's to those who face the struggle, and repeat things in an effort to understand and master them. It's not easy, but it's worth it.
