Am I A Quitter?
We're only a few days into the new year and I already have to revise my New Year resolutions. It sucks but hey, I'm in this for the long run so whatever I have to do to make thing work, I'll do it.
Here is my original plan:
- "Keep it going" with my regular daytime job
- Spending 2 hours a day and weekend on my 2 websites
- Socializing on WA an hour a day
- Going through the training as much as I can afford
What happens is I will have increased responsibilities at my regular job. The trainings required are really ridiculous and as much as I long for the day when I can submit my resignation, I cannot afford to refuse the added responsibilities at the moment.
That means I'll only have time to work on 1 website and have to cut down the time I spend on WA. I do hope things will change but at the moment I feel like I'm a loser. I feel like I'm taking huge steps backwards on my journey to become master of my own destiny.
Wishing you all great success with your endeavors!

Hi theduke, you are definitely not a quitter. Life sucks and we all know it. It pulls us away from our loved ones and basically controls our life to make ends meet by being in the work place.
On a brighter note, you will still be able to work on your website and you will still have your dreams of independence and success. There are certain things that can never be taken away from you.
Just, hold on to your dreams and do what you can. Things have a strange habit of going your way when you least expect them to.
Have faith in yourself. Lis.
How dare you call my friend a loser? Not at all! You have to take care of your responsibilities and one site at a time is not a bad plan. It won't take you long to adjust to your new responsibilities and you can again direct more time to WA. Don't get discouraged! I believe in you and I'm pulling for you. Take heart my friend ~ YOU GOT THIS!
Hey Duke, you said it all in your opening paragraph...maybe re-read to yourself.
"I'm in this for the long run so whatever I have to do to make things work, I'll do it."
There is nothing wrong with revising your priorities. Time management is always key and is a tough lesson for us all. It all boils down to what kind of spin you put on it....you can let it throw down a beating on you, or you can roll with it.
Since you have opted to work two websites, possibly try alternating between the two at set time intervals or choosing one and getting it going successfully before tackling the second.
Your not a quitter, your just having some growing pains that's all!
Hope this helps you some:
Patience, Persistence and the Willingness to Succeed!
Press on!
