Originality.AI thinks my Content is AI Generated even though it is not.
I am just wondering whether other people are getting the same results I am. Today and yesterday I wrote an article from scratch and both articles were over 2000 words and both articles came out as 90 percent AI-generated.
Is it that it thinks that everything must have been generated with AI? Interestingly enough i also put two articles into Originality, both articles were 100 percent AI generated and I doctored both so that they were genuinely 90 percent AI generated and were reported as such.
I have never paid for this tool before and certainly will be canceling my subscription. What results us anyone else getting?
Actually I dont care whether I am penalized by Google as the site has been created to use Google ads to generate 100 0f the traffic I am not interested in organic traffic

Ok, my question is why are you not using AI, as Kyle said today you can save a lot of time.

I've certainly experienced this when using this tool Catherine and have never bothered using it since!
It's as reliable as a central American police officer not on the take my friend! :-)
๐คฃ๐คฃ Well, you're in no rush and I am sure that you are enjoying yourself Catherine!
Stay safe my friend! :-)
HI Catherine,
I'd take that as a compliment maybe, that you write so well that AI detectors know you are not part of the pack and are above them. They say to keep our writing around I believe a 6th grade reading level for our readers. I can attest when I was in self publishing I quickly realized after understanding just how atrocious my writing mechanics are, that the average reader never saw those flaws as they had a worse grasp than myself, hah hah.
I've followed several experiments using AI generated content and there are many blogs doing well in rankings. some using a few tweaks here and there, but doing well just the same.
So I say take it as a badge of honor. :)

Jason
Hi - even OpenAI can't tell whether their own content is AI-generated and has shut down their own tool.

Hi, Catherine
Yes, I have tried many AI detectors, including Originality.AI, and they are all unreliable.
I tested them with all-original content and got the same results as you.
Don't waste your time or money! ๐

Yes, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
People have been complaining about articles they wrote over 10 years ago, before AI was even a thing, being flagged as AI.
Then other people began testing articles from various major publications, like WebMD, MayoClinic, etc, also coming back with high AI scores.
I did a test the other day with a brand new Healthline article, which also showed to be 90% AI.
ChatGPT's own AI detector tool was just taken down on July 20th, because the owners realized how inaccurate it was.
Originality.ai marketed themselves amazingly well, and I think it's why many people go to that company as the trusted AI detector source, but it has issues just as any other detector.
Also, as long as your content is unique, original, and truly adding value to the user experience, Google is not penalizing AI generated content.

Thank you, Catherine, for bringing this topic up. Thank you to all of the commentators for chiming in with your experiences. This saves me from finding similar results as I also use Grammarly Pro Beta in my writing.
I really like Jason's comment on writing as if you are writing for a bunch of 6th graders, LOL ๐.

That is often in my prompt seventh graders
