At first i was more focused on writing stuff, but since i start doing videos and live
commentary my focus has shifted more towards videos. Made some more videos, Swedish
Lesson 14 and another flight in the game FTL.

Listened to the recording of the call thingy that was held on Friday for that expert wheel thingy stuff, seems like they are just waiting to get started. It was nice to hear that so far, they have not been ticking of the time for the trial period.

Lets just say that hearing that took basically all my fears away, I'm not really a person who loves to view stuff in a negative light. But i also like to be informed, and not knowing anything is an easy easy way to let doubt start showing its ugly face.

Will try to write more stuff, hopefully i can do that but its a little hard because i find that doing videos are so much more fun.

Anyway... this has been TheApeMania... Have a good one.

can you help me learn how to do this stuff

It depends on what you mean with ''this stuff'', i know a thing or two about making videos and uploading them on Youtube. If you mean about the expert wheel thingy, I'm still too green about it to be of much help.

If you want to start doing videos, you need some stuff to start off. First get a good mic, if you can afford a nice fancy USB one then go for it. Otherwise Rockband mics are damn good for their price, just bought one of the Swedish Ebay.

Then you need some software for recording and editing, i use X-split to record my stuff. You can use that or Fraps, but Fraps create really large raw video files so make sure to have lots of free space if you go with Fraps. I think Camtasia also has recording, but I'm not sure.

Depending upon the game, you might want to record voice audio separately, Audacity is a really nice program that is free to use. I use it for recording my FTL videos.

For Editing, you can use Sony Vegas Pro demo. That software is free and has no limitations on video length. I think you can also use Camtasia, might have a 30 day trial period.

The most important thing is to practise, both in how the software and the mic works and also how to record your videos. Your first videos will probably not turn out that well, but hey... its part of learning.

Hope that helps
