Overcoming the Fear of Yourself on Video

As I have said in the past. I have a fear of showing myself in YouTube content. It is a fear I am learning many people share, making me realize I am not alone. This fear is a tough one.

I just started a new site, and to make it work, I will be using video. The first step in my process is to show more of myself in my content. I am now using my likeness more and more in my content. I figure that if I can include it in the things I create, it will lessen my fear of showing myself on video.

As I move forward, I will expand to video creation. I just thought I would share this idea with everyone who shares the fear of video and let you know you are not alone. I know faceless video is great and can work well if used correctly, but you and your likeness create a stronger connection with both your readers and your viewers. That connection is part of building your authority. And building authority is the game we play.
