Squidoo issues related to Google Changes

There has been a lot of discussion lately about removing thin lenses from Squidoo and lenses that are solely sales related. They had already banned direct links to many sites, notably make money fast and adult. Should you be worried?

No none of us should be worried as we will all have applied the knowledge learned here from our Bootcamp course with Kyle. I know that I have and guess what of over 30 lenses none of mine have been blocked yet.

All of the major changes by lensmasters has led to a general drop in Squidoo traffic in the last week or two, but again mine has held steady and is starting to come back. More significantly many of my tier 3 lenses are now tier 2 (A lot of the crap has been deleted!).

My advice to anyone new stick with it follow the Bootcamp advice and Squidoo Quests, take your time build quality informative lenses and write articles for back links, etc. and you will be fine. This will settle down and Squidoo will regain its Google love. They and many other sites have survived Google's changes in the past and will continue to do so.

Remember what Kyle says about quality informative articles that answer thereaders questions with discreet linking will always out perform the spam merchants over the long haul. Why? because they help people and never get banned! It really is that simple.
