My one month walk through WA.
How it started.
My journey with WA started a month ago. I was on the web looking for extra income stream because my salary has become very little to get. I was literally working from hand-to-mouth and needed change. I came across one of Roope's YouTube videos talking about WA and I decided to give it a try. Had no knowledge of building a website nor what SEO was. After the beginners short program I had stumbled upon something great and decided to pursue it.
How it's going.
I decided to build my business around the safety of children from their cradle to the playgrounds. I started writing content for my page and I must say it has really been a learning curve me. Especially, considering that I last wrote articles while I was still in college. The first article I wrote was indexed in Google. Then my second was ranked page 1, position 1 for a few days on Bing and Yahoo.
What's next?
Most times I hardly have enough time to dedicate to building my website but slowly and gradually, I move closer to my dream of providing people with a platform to learn and get service. And I plan to complete my entrepreneur's training program and start monetizing my website.
I think it was Oprah who said "if your dreams don't scare you, they're not big enough" and so I dare to dream big. Sometimes it feels like the money goals I have set in the beginning of the program are impossible because the niche I have chosen doesn't seem to get people clicking. I have 5 articles published already and have only received about 25+ clicks.
I pray God gives me strength to persevere until something happens. I want to build a 3 figure business in the next 6 months. I do not know, maybe I am being too ambitious. But then again, like it was said, "if your dreams don't scare you, they are not big enough".
I have nothing to lose. Let's do this, folks.
