Bada bing!

We are usually trying desperately to get our pages ranked on page #1 of Google. That is my goal as well. I have had some success climbing the ranks. One day page 10 the next 7, then to 4, then back to 7. Yeesh! What a ride! Those Google guys just tend to be a fickle group.

But Bing is another story altogether. I make sure I do the right keyword search before I write and post content but getting to page #1 of Bing is so much easier. I have written around 10 posts and 3 are on page 1. Other are on page 2. Not only that, they are either in the first or second place on page #1.

I realize that Bing is used by only about 30% of the searchers out there. But that translates into hundreds of thousands (perhaps millions)) of searchers. That is tooooooo coooool!

Do I want page #1 ranking with Google? Of course! But until I make the first pages of that elite world, I am happy to be ranked so high with Bing!

Thanks for the awesome training Kyle!

Bada BING!!!

Do you use one of your long key-words to test your ranking??

Yes I do.

Hello, Tony. Liked your thoughts on ranking in Bing vs. Google. My same experience. For the first time in my life, I got a website ranked on the first page of Bing for the search phrase, How To Make Money Internet Marketing. It lasted for about two weeks and now I'm down to page 3 or 4. I don't know why. But at least I know it can be done. Now I have to figure out how to do it repeatedly. Cordially, David

That is highly competitive field. That probably is why the drop. Just my guess. Thanks for you comments. ~ Tony

Thanks Tony,
I hadn't given Bing much thought. It tends to slip through the cracks during the pursuit of Google!
Will give that a go :)

Geoff

Good call Geoff! All the best! ~ Tony

I know less about bing, thank you for teaching new thing to me.

Just open Bing at bing.com and type in the name of one of your posts (the keywords you used when you wrote the post) in the search bar. See where it is ranking. Glad this helped you.

How many people use bing compare to google?
