Time for a new blog
Well it's the two month mark since I started and I am not really sure how it is all going, the only comments I get to my site is from all you lovely guys. We had snow here again on Saturday which is unusual, Tassie is cold but it doesn't snow down to sea level all that often and twice in the same amount of weeks is very strange. I seem to be going through the stage of "What am I doing, it's not working for me" phase at the moment. I have been reading a lot of blogs and there are some others out there going through the same thing but there are also a lot that are going really well in this small amount of time. Am I doing something wrong or maybe I just picked the wrong Niche, not sure where to go from here to make any money, some advice would be great but who wants to share their success secrets with other people ....... no-one really!!!!.
I have been following all the lessons, reading all the information, posting regular blogs but it doesn't want to work for me. I think I will give it another month and if it doesn't pan out then maybe it's not for me.
On a lighter note I have included a photo of the girls and our snow dog playing in the snow.

Two months in is very early days to be honest. You have to keep plodding on, step by step and you will get there :)

I am not sure if you have a social media presence your own facebook fan page for your website ? try searching.

you are the star of that search an acid test it will bring up the pages in the order that folks are going to your website are they your sales pages or are folks checking out you're about me page to see if you have the goods so to speak?
More homework, have you heard of " shipping shock" it is where folks go through the shopping process only to abandon the shopping cart at checkout when the shipping component is added to the purchase sometimes it is more than the product its self.
Acid test go through the checkout process pick some products from your site see what the total cost is would you buy from your online store or amazon link. Amazon will place you in Tassie because of your IPS address, try the same search incognito would you purchase from your online presence.
It is a work in progress we need the tools and techniques to get an online business up and humming. WA provides many of those tools.
And to close out it takes some time to build out a site with content, and like most folks say around here content is king. hope that helps just sing out if you need some help. Like I say just some acid test tips

Hi Tracy. Patience is your biggest virtue here, especially if blogging is your #1 activity. I see you have already risen to 382 in the rankings - pretty damn good for 2 months.

This is not an overnight business. Blogging is a slow but very effective way to build a business. Be patient and it will happen!
I wrote a blog here about a girl who built a following of over 1 million in MyTribe in the Nail Art niche.
She was approached by Sony Music to promote the new single by One Direction. She made over $5,000 and people were saying how she made $5K in 10 mins.
They didn't count the 2 years she spent building her audience.

Kev, thanks for that pep talk, it is just what I needed and I will have to read that blog you mentioned. I think it's because I see other nail art blogs and they all look so professional and mine seems to be mediocre. I hope I don't have to wait 2 years building my audience.

Sorry Tracy, it is actually called Tribe. Was founded by Jules Lund. I have never used it but as I understand it is a social media app. See below

Tracey, my colleagues said it all. Be encouraged. I am not making any money, but I am growing and loving every moment. I am getting better at blogging and writing generally and I am helping people.
