How To Get Indexed By Google
About ten days ago I started a new website which is in the mental health realm. Since that day I have submitted forty four pages to Google and thirty seven of them have been indexed. I will show you the method that I use to get Google to notice my site quickly and have the material indexed
Google Search Console
This is a must have for any person who has created a website and to be honest it would be foolish not to use it to its full capabilities
Sitemap For Google
I currently use Yoast SEO as one of my main Wordpress plugins and I love their sitemap generator which is far better than any other I have come across, yes I use the free version
When my site was first created I took the sitemap link out of the Yoast SEO plugin and submitted it to Google Search Console. Google Search Console has a tool where you can fetch certain links. I put in my sitemap link and had the tool fetch and render the link then asked it to index the URL and all attached links. I have found this speeds up the process
When I create an article the first thing I do is go back to Google Search Console and fetch the latest link then asked it to be indexed. Google Fetch allows you to do this with five hundred links a month, if you choose to index all attached links you are limited to ten per Google account
The next step is to share it with my social network followers. I use Twitter, Facebook and Google Plus as my main three
There has been days where a new article was indexed in a couple of hours while most will show up within twenty four
Anyway this is the process that I have been using for all of my sites and have found it works much quicker than just sitting and waiting
