Simple Safe Way To Get Images For Reuse

Probably the safest source of images that I have come across other than taking pictures yourself is Google itself. Most of us should know about it already but just in case here is the complete drill down to copyright safe images.

With Google Search on the screen go to the upper right corner "Images". Not there because you are using Ubuntu or something? Try just clicking on a blank search.

When you have Image Search type in your keywords for the search just like a regular search.

This is important: Before using any of the images showing go to Search Tools on the menu. It's the last option.

Then go to Usage Rights on the next menu.

Make sure you go to Labeled For Reuse and click on it.

All the images under Labeled For Reuse are copyright safe for whatever you want to use them for. This can save you from a surprise bill from a copyright holder who has found you using their images without permission.

It is so simple for someone to find you. All they have to do is copy an image and paste the copied image into the Google Images search box as is and they find wherever the image is being used in the world.. Don't take a chance. It is not worth it!
