Always Check Things Out
I found something on my drive that really seemed interesting. There was no author listed.
I thought it might be great for a giveaway or a small charge item. After all, there was no copyright or author anywhere I could see.
I really thought it would be beneficial for some people. And I do have quite a bit of private label rights material.
Having some uneasy feelings though I did want to be as sure as I could before using it.
I selected and copied a pretty good sized part from the middle of it.
I went to Google and pasted the whole thing into the search box and did the search.
It was available from kindle and several other sources for sale and yes there was an author listed.
Do you realize how much trouble I could have gotten into if I did not check? It can get pretty expensive as well when you get the bills for using someone elses material.

Double checking is time consuming. Assuming can be financially consuming i prefer to pay the first price rather than the second

Those uneasy feelings can be very useful. When I started using the internet, fifteen years ago, I was naively under the impression that anything published there was free to use. Fortunately, I didn't find out the hard way. It certainly pays to check.
