Give Yourself a Time Out Break
A fortnight ago Kyle said "Have a break for 10 days before starting your next course" because I had finished course 1. What a great idea. He also said "keep dabbling in WA while on your break."
I chose to only recognise the first part of his recommendation. 'Have a Break'
I intentionally did that for several reasons closer to home. School holidays so grand kids were to be around plus my wife wanted a slave to perform some serious unpaid bullocking work for her business.
Boy oh Boy do those tiny little glass beads weigh a lot when packed into boxes.
It turned out that I was far too tired at the end of each of the days bullocking to look at the computer. Great therapy is hard physical work and it frees your mind to explore life around you and look to the future. Also the thoughts of having oodles of money so you can pay another lucky person to do the hard work is inviting.
Then I had 5 days off and went sailing with some friends along the coast and back. Now that is serious time out connecting with nature - the wind, waves, dolphins, albatross, Sun, clouds, stars and even a light shower of rain, enjoying interesting and like company, contributing to the operation of the yacht and totally unwinding. A Floating Nirvana.
Now just finishing off with a week of playing with our granddaughter the love of our lives. Not as relaxing as the previous activity but so so rewarding, entertaining and exhausting, how lucky can a person be??? I am truly blessed and grateful for all that comes to me and all that I can share.
Ya gotta love life!!!
So 'have a break' chill out by doing other things that help, challenge, develop, relax, nurture, refresh and refocus you on your goals. Returning with a fresh outlook is exciting, to continue to build my dream.
Cheers
Terry

I am on a break now. My employer always have problems with us taking breaks. Thanks Kyle.
Looks like you had real honest to goodness fun, joy and laughter, you are truly blessed Terry. You have everything that matters and others you can work at it. Meantime, I pray more of the same for you and your beautiful family....

I definitely need help in this area. I'm an all in or all out kind of person so I'm afraid if I step away I might forget to step back in. Maybe that's why Kyle says "dabble" - so we don't forget to come back?
You took the words right out of my mouth, Daniella.. it's all or nothing with me.. until I burn out.
Must heed this advice :)

I agree Daniella.if I step back for a short period, it's always hard to get back in the groove.
Great thoughts, Terry!
Great Success to you

A break is great. I find it is best to finish the activity I am working on though (else I have to start it again) before taking the break.
