Why I Created My Wealthy Affiliate Site - Senior Marketing Hub

Hi everyone, I’m Teri Rehkopf — some of you might already know me from my survival and prepping sites, but this new venture of mine is a little different. It’s called SeniorMarketingHub.com, and it’s built for people like us — those of us who have a lifetime of experience but still want to build something new, something online, and something that earns.

After 18 years in IT and running my own web design business since 1999, I’ve seen the web evolve from dial-up to AI. And somewhere along that timeline, I tried affiliate marketing… and failed miserably. I didn’t understand keywords, traffic, or funnels. I just knew I wanted a way to earn online that didn’t require stocking inventory or chasing clients.

Fast forward to now, and I found Wealthy Affiliate, and everything finally clicked. For the first time, the process made sense. I had structure, training, and a community that actually answered questions without judgment. That support changed everything for me.

But what really got me thinking was this — are we supporting our seniors well enough?

We have experience, discipline, and a work ethic that younger people often overlook. What we sometimes don’t have is guidance that speaks our language. Most “make money online” content out there feels like it’s written for 25-year-old digital nomads with perfect Wi-Fi and zero patience. I can really attest to the non-perfect WI-FI, especially since I just got Xfinity and now I have the speed others on WA have, lol.

I built SeniorMarketingHub.com to bridge the senior gap.

It’s a place where seniors can:

• Build confidence using AI and tech tools without fear.

We will create something sustainable for us seniors. You will develop a small business that fits your lifestyle, not one that takes it over.
