Have You Used Hubs to Add Categories? I’m Amazed. Again!
Not a Newbie, lol
Well, I’ve been at WA long enough now that I can’t really say I’m a newbie anymore, but I sure feel like it sometimes. I found a fantastic way to create posts using Hubs. I’ve used the Add Category under Content Ideas, but I hadn’t thought to use it like I did the past couple of days.
Before I joined Wealthy Affiliate, I purchased PLR (Private Label Rights) content to rewrite using an article spinner and post online. In the beginning, I was looking for horse or equestrian-related content, so it was hard.
Changing Niches
This is one of the reasons I changed my niche. There wasn’t that much content for my horse website, AHorseBlog dot com. So, I changed niches to survival prepping, which is way too saturated. I figured I would do survival kits, but there’s only so much you can write about kits, so it became an educational site covering all aspects of survival.
Later, I decided to do a different, more closely tailored to me as a senior, called GoldenSurvivalist dot com. This site has actually been growing faster than my original survival prepper site, so I post on it more often.
PLR Content
The person I purchase the PLR content from promotes a lot of survival content because this is something she does and knows well. She promotes survival content 1-3 times a month, and I usually purchase it.
She sends the offer with a list of titles of all of the content that is included. So, I just realized these content titles are the same as Hubs Categories! Waaaa? I just now figured this out?
Add Category in Hubs
I had been using ChatGPT Plus to create posts from these titles, but it’s a lot easier to do it in Hubs. Hubs gives you 10 posts to the ONE Category! How did I not understand this?
Of course, I’ve created a ton of Hubs categories to do. Now, I am so overwhelmed by the number of articles I have to do. I did a bulk create using 10 categories and that gave me 10 each = 100. Include that with what is already there from the original niche Hubs setup, and I have HUNDREDS!
For any article/post that you see a competitor do, JUST COPY THE TITLE AND ADD ANOTHER CATEGORY IN HUBS.
Now I have plenty of horse-related content.
Conclusion
Now, if I could not be such a perfectionist on my articles. I take too long to find associated images and do links (even LinkWhisper takes a bit).
Please let me know if you already know this and how you have used the Add Category function in Hubs. I sometimes feel so stupid especially when I have been doing a function but haven’t been using it to its fullest.
Thanks,
Teri

Thanks, Tim!
I'm doing quite well. Surgeries are over until May/June for some minor reconstructive surgery.
When it's winter, I take the opportunity that I'm indoors and not doing a ton of outside work and gardening, although it's 85 degrees and been in the upper 70s-low 80s.
It will be cooler next week. I see 42 one morning low and 40 on Friday low. Just hope it doesn't freeze again. My poor dead ferns. I have to trim out the dead parts. Some made it and they are growing in the bare, dead spots.
I love my fern, plus I have a large area of sedge grass that has died back from the freeze. It's trying to come back. And azaleas are popping... Spring is coming :)
Teri
So glad to hear you're doing well, Teri!
It's full on winter here in Michigan! The snow is falling and it is forecasted to be in the single digits next week.
On a much brighter note, we leave for a warm vacation next week....Cabo San Lucas, MX! We can't wait!!
Spring can't get here fast enough for us.
Take care of yourself!

Way to go, Teri. I've always wanted to dabble with PLR content. Love the idea of learning something new for progress.
All the best,
Maxine :)
Thanks, Maxine!
Hubs works great to replace PLR. Just use the titles within the PLR content for the Add Category.
Enjoy!
Teri
Teri, I am using the categories in Hubs and it is as you are saying: tones of fresh articles. I really like this feature :)
Teri, I totally get that feeling of discovering something and thinking, "How did I not see this sooner?" 😆
Hubs really does make things easier when it comes to organizing and streamlining content. I’ve played around with adding categories, but the way you’re using it with PLR content is next-level smart!
Now I’m tempted to go bulk-create some posts myself.
Thanks for sharing this—it’s always fun learning new tricks.
All the best,
Boris
Thanks, Boris!
I had a hard time sleeping when I figured this out a couple days ago. I wanted to use it, lol. Couldn't wait to do the posts.
So much better using Hubs to do this.
We crazy techy people...

Hi Teri!
Yes, I love that feature. I added three more the other day and am working on the thirty posts it came up with.
I know when WA releases the image addition to the WA writer soon that will help us speed up the process.
Like you, images take me a lot of time, especially when DALL-E created.
Happy posting!!
I use DALL-E, too, but it doesn't render specific horse-related images that well. It's gotten better, but it still does things like show a firefighter hanging in the air instead of on the building and some horses have multiple legs or unattached legs. It's hard to add riders on horses, too.
Thanks, Howard, for your response!
Teri
I do a lot in the RV niche so I know what you mean about strange results for specific requests.
I have actually created a tutorial on this, it can quickly allow you to spin out new content ideas (fulfilling full categories) on your website. This can help you build out your structured web of content for your website, also known as topic clustering.
This strategy combined with help with rankings, can help with indexing, as Google will define you as an authority if you have multiple helpful and relevant pieces of content across a particular topic.
Glad you are liking this feature!
I have been using it for content, but why I didn't realize that I could use it like I have now, I don't know, lol.
No more purchasing PLR content!

Prior to when the hubs came in I was using and still do the niche finder tool to break down further a particular niche but what I found out I could then use the breakdown to create categories.
When hubs came in I add to my content ideas what categories I already have on my websites which gives me those 10 added ideas for posts to create.
I also found out that when you add a title in the category you can swap things around and give some more content ideas
Like you could have a category on motivation which will give you 10 content ideas
Then in the category add motivation and mindfullnes which give you more and you can rinse and repeat be adding that extra topic or niche idea to another one.
Evenn motivation and affilaite marketing which gives you more content ideas.
Wishing you well and enjoy all we have here as there is so much to learn and gain from what WA gives us
Andre
Thanks, Andre! It's just so cool when you discover that you can replace something you've been paying for a long time.
I am just so thankful for finding Wealthy Affiliate when I did. I've had health setbacks for the first two years here, but hoping for smooth sailing this year :)
Hubs is da' bomb! 😎😻😏😍
Teri
Most welcome Teri there are so many ways to use the hub categories along with the niche finder to enhance more and be able to focus on not only posts but additional categories as well.
Good to hear the health has improved as well.
Enjoy your day and the rest of the week onwards.
Andre :)
Thanks, Andre!
You have a good one, too :)
