When writing - be yourself!
In the Bootcamp P3 L3, Kyle talks about how important it is to write socially engaging, as if you are having a conversation with someone. Keep it light, interesting and fun.
After coming out of the corporate world, it is so refreshing to be able to add a bit of personality to my writing, I love the idea of writing with no one looking over my shoulder.
I don't need to worry about getting in trouble for a light hearted joke. I can be myself and write with a little edge of cheekiness, without being rude of course.
To put this into context, I wrote 25,000 words in September in WA content builder, and this is not the only thing I have going on, of course!
To get to a higher level of output, you need to LOVE writing, and I believe that comes from having fun with it. Show a bit of attitude and a sense of humor.
If your approach to your website is getting a little stale, or if you find yourself losing inspiration for writing content, perhaps it is because you are taking it too seriously?
All the best,
Tommy.

Great points Tommy! (Raises hand)-I understand the corporate emails and language as well.
I literally write all my copy as if I'm writing an email to one of my friends. This way you don't sound like you're trying sell bed frames...
Great insight Tommy!
I am going to try that Tommy.
