It is so easy to get distracted when trying to build a website. Over the years I have come to realise that productivity is king.

After I started implementing Robin Sharma's 90:90:1 principle my productivity went through the roof, it was a total game changer.

Quite simply, the idea is to spend the first 90 minutes of your day working on the #1 most important task that will super-charge your productivity. Do this for 90 days and you will leave your competition for dead.

For me, the most important thing I can do is write content. For the first 90 minutes of every work day, I close down all of my tabs, I put my phone on silent, I turn on some relaxing music and I just write.

To ensure my success, I also make sure I have a topic ready to go the night before so my brain starts processing the idea subconsciously.

Since joining Wealthy Affiliate I've started using the Site Content tool as I can turn off the spell checker (which I love). I laugh at how many typos I make, but I will regularly hit 2000 words within 90 minutes.

Last Sunday I did back to back "90 minute jam sessions" and pumped out 5000 words, which I published as 2 blog posts.
