So here I am 4 weeks into the WA training program with incredibly mixed results. My personal satisfaction of creating a website which I always wanted to do with my skiing passion, that has been a huge part of my life now for the past 30 years. The website that seemed so far beyond my reach of the digital technical world of today was created within this time frame amazes me and all in the comfort of home The sceptism in the beginning of WA is now just a blur as I move forward into the program, although each day as I tackle various tasks I still read the quote "the difference in winning and losing is most often..........not quitting". It is mounted above my screen as to not forget. At this early stage of training I still have issues, many issues that arise which are obviously never forthcoming but are always worked out with the never ending help of the WA community. The ongoing training is itself a highway of knowledge that most universities would accept into their programs.

At the minute I have slow down somewhat not because of info overload (ok that's not entirely true) but more so with internet speed and traffic issues.

Living in this beautiful part of the world where we don't need to lock doors or get stuck in daily traffic commutes and we still have a sense of community feel, looking after each in our trials and tribulations. But now having joined up WA the most pressing issue is the internet connection. We have sattellite broadband and it does have its moments like when pages don't load properly while your trying to work you way through the training. The Aussie government are currently working through these issues but I want hold your breath.

The internet issue isn't a deterant for me as Im now just too involved although it may not seem so according to my progress results. I am still working through the training process without ticking any boxes but posting when possible, and I will simply go back through from where I left off. Its possible that I might even do some of the lessons twice but im ok with this, More knowledge to pass on in the future. I can visulise that this will be my fulltime job in a years time so Im quite happy to work towards this goal.

Ive had a successful business in another life and it didnt happen overnight nor sitting on your bum so the same philosophy applies here. To be honest the ski season doesnt help when your mates are out skiing and you need to choose work or ski, skiing always wins funny about that.

Cheers

Your attitude is impressive, I have never skied before but I guess when you come downhill, you need to climb back uphill in order to enjoy the thrill of coming downhill. Remember every time that you are just downhill and that the fun part will soon come, and the thrill will be ...

That is really BEAUTIFUL....
