Hi Tee, reading all the answers you have got, I think I am missing something. It does not matter what theme you are using the method of adding images will be the same. The answers you have received would reflect what I would be saying to you.
I am just wondering if you want to add these images to your home page or your landing page.

go to your profile page click on websites, then click on site Content, then click on the post or page that you want to add images to. Now you should be in the Site Content/Editor mode.
Go to the Editor Bar and you will a highlighted icon right next to ABC, click on the image and you will see a small screen that you can upload from one of your files or Search from 1,000,000 images. Enter for i.e. Clock and click search and you will probably get a hundred of them. You have to use your imagination to get to the ones you would like. Then You click on the Choose button of the one you want and it takes you into the Crop mode. Most of these will be rather large on your post so crop what you need and how you want it to look. This is a feel for the more you do it. Then determine whether you want in the middle, center or right and then clink at the starting location you want to be. ( that is, click the cursor so that it is blinking in that location). Then Click Insert. If not happy with it click on the image putting you in the edit mode scroll down to the Remove and click. Hi guys
I have images/photos on my pages and posts already but I would want to include images/photos on my webpage that appears when one visits my site instead.

When you are in your post or page editor and you have written some text, decide where you want the image/photo to go.

Click the curser at that point and then click on the add media button at the top left. That opens a window with two tabs that says upload files and media library.

If you've never uploaded any images previously the media library will be empty and you'll need to upload an image.

To do that click on upload files and another window opens that says drop files to upload or select files. If your image is on your desktop you can drag and drop it into the window (I usually do this by sizing down the window so you can see both the image on your desktop and the sized down upload window).

When you've dropped it into the upload window it will then download into your media library which is the tab next to the upload files tab.

You will then see the image in your media library and from there you make sure it's ticked and then click insert into post at the bottom left of the screen.

You will then be taken back to your editor with the text you've written on screen and the image will appear where you left your cursor at the beginning of the process.

If you want to move the image to the middle, left or right of the page, click on it and you will see the icons open above the image allowing you to do so.

Experiment a few times and use trial and error....that's how I learnt how to do loads of things.

I had the same problem but kept at it til I got it, some images wouldn't just wouldn't do it so I found different images that wasn't a problem.
