links seem to be fixed

Ok, I spent all afternoon working on my pages redoing my Amazon links. (Refer back to previous post on When Things Don't seem right).This morning I logged into Amazon and found an order. So apparently they are now working.

Let this be a lesson to all of us. When you have the ranking on first page for several keywords and are getting clicks on Amazon (or anyone else) but not getting orders, check it out. Either your content is not converting or something is wrong with your links. In my case the content was the same as when I was getting sales.

When I clicked on my links myself it would take me to the right page on Amazon. However, orders were not being tagged to my account. I had no way to check that on my end. An Amazon customer service person was able to place dummy orders and discovered the problem.

I still don't know that the Amazon Easy Azon plugin was the problem but I am taking no chances. If it happens again, then it may be in the clear. If anyone of you is using that plugin and have not had orders since the Wordpress 4.0 update, you better deactivate and redo your links as well.
