I Just Went Premium!

The past year, I realized some amazing career dreams! I quit my teaching job to work from home full-time and replaced my teaching income in 30 days.

That is cool and all but...

I am still trading time for money. It is still a huge blessing because I can work from home when my baby boys are sleeping and have enough time, energy, and space in my day to work on other ways of earning an income.

This is why I just went PREMIUM!

I have dreamed of earning passive income for years now. For the past couple years, I have dabbled in many things to find what works for me...Network marketing, coaching, creating products.

All of those opportunities are great, BUT...

If you do not have an audience, it is near impossible to earn an income from them.

So, as I learn to build an online business through my blog/website and earn passive income, I will incorporate some of these things again...as long as they fit my brand (which, I am excited about!).

Here is to a continued journey to pursuing my dreams of being a profitable online teacher who has many streams of income...and can help other educators do the same!

See you all around!

Hi Candi, since online teaching is an 'active' means of generating income (one of my favorites) you'll need to look at the online market and decided how to monetize the 'passive' stuff related to online teaching. Or is it your intention to branch out from that niche and explore other affiliate niches? I'm not sure because you mention building an audience, which is of course super important! But an audience for what, have you decided?

We might be able to collaborate as my niche at the moment is more focused on English teaching than Math teaching, but I've been interested in online math teaching for some time.

cheers and welcome aboard as a premium member, that's very good decision!

Best,

Marc

Hello! I teach English about 70% of the time and math 30%. My niche is to help teachers make money online. Online teaching is one way. I plan to be in the make money online niche, but specifically for teachers. So, it may be that our niches overlap on some ways.
How long have you been doing this? What has you journey looked like so far? I would definitely be interested on collaborating!

Candice

Hi Candice, you'll start finding your way around here.

One thing to consider doing here at WA is to 'like' what people have posted to your profiles or blogs because it develops the sense of community.

In other words, if you don't show appreciation for people's efforts to communicate with you, by clicking the 'like' button, (as I will do for you, on your response above) people won't see you as making the effort to participate with them here.

That makes them less interested in sharing, collaborating, etc... :) whereas by showing the 'like' they will be more inclined to make the effort...

Marc

Thanks for your insight! I read your blog about the "likes". I appreciate your perspective.

Hey thanks for stopping by and reading my blog. I'll send you some ideas about collaboration as we are in a sense in 'competing' niches, really, but the Internet is so big.... :) cheers Marc PS thanks for understanding about the 'like'
