Hoping this structure will not prove to be a bad thing...I have been building since 10/2017, have 20+ posts, privacy policy is on it's own page, but all content has been publis

No problem. Early on in the training some pages are made like the About me, Privacy Policy, etc., but those are just the framework for the site, the bulk of which will be posts :) You're right on track.

A great track Terri. Your site looks welcoming in great colors and patterns as a design site should! Later you'll want to branch out to more pages for categories based on your niche structure!
