All in Title
Hi guys,
Here's a little tip I picked up several months ago, which I sometimes use to help select post titles (and at the moment a domain brand). It's one of Google's special search features.
If you type in allintitle:xxx into the search bar, it will tell you how many url's are listed with that exact phrase in the title (where xxx is the keyword or phrase you are considering).
The following screen shots show how I have used this search program to narrow down my domain selection.
1. - standard google search
2. title:best of brainpower
3. allintitle:best of brainpower
This gives me a better idea of the competition for this domain - only 131 websites have this phrase in the title - so it should be a bit easier to rank for.
Hope this is of use.
Happy hunting,
David
