Learning the Importance of Weekly Goals!
Two months in and I'm realizing how important it is to set weekly goals for myself. Keeping the content flow going and learning everything about SEO and the back office of my website has been posing some challenges for me.
As of right now, I'm in the process of learning how to create email newsletters as well as how the entire email sign up lists work, creating content, learning about ADS, researching my niche, finding products to promote in my niche and wow am I getting bogged down. I am realizing that if I don't set some goals for myself each week that I will overwhelm myself with all the details and end up throwing in the towel. I won't let that happen, I'm too stubborn.
It's Not a Race - Time to Pace Myself
Why do I feel the need to rush to have my site up and running at it's best? I don't get it?? It's not even like I'm in it to make money at this point, honestly I just enjoy helping people and engaging with others about my content. It's like an uncontrolable urge over me and I have to grab hold of my innerself and remind me, I'm not trailing behind. It's the strangest darn thing.
My goal for the rest of this week is to create a weekly goal spreadsheet and outline what I will accomplish weekly, starting with next week and I hope that helps me to pull the reigns in a bit and focus on one thing at a time ( I think Kyle even made mention about not multitasking in part of his training tutorials - I can totally see why now!)
If you've experienced similar experiences I'd love to hear from you. Tell me about what strategies you do to ensure that you are pacing yourself to avoid frustration.

All the best on your success
Hi Tracy,
Indeed, it is important to set weekly goals for ourselves. When we set goals, it forces us to focus on their realization and so cut down on our time wastage so that we do the things necessary to accomplish our goals.
Yes, sometimes it feels like we in a race with ourselves. However, we need to realize, that we should take time to enjoy our journey as we move along the way and once we are achieving the things we have set for ourselves, it is okay to take a little breather every now and then.
Much success on your journey here at WA!
Kind regards,
Nichola
