It Happened! I Made My First Sale
Well I did it, I made my first sale after 6 months of joining WA.... I'm ecstatic!
I was pleasantly surprised when I logged in today to find that I made $27.30 from a sale, woo hoo!!!!
PACING MYSELF
Being new to affiliate marketing and learning the ropes when I first signed on, I opted not to sign up as an affiliate for Amazon so not to get too overwhelmed with all the rules and stipulations that has to be followed becoming an affiliate for that company. So I applied to smaller affiliate programs while I learned the ropes of affiliate marketing, and low and behold I made a sale.
I do plan to apply as an affiliate to Amazon once I'm a little more comfortable, that seems to be the big one most affiliates navigate to.
WHAT'S A JOURNEY WITHOUT CHALLENGES
I won't lie to you, this journey has been abit of a challenge for me. Working full time, with a 60 min commute one way (2hrs on the road everyday, 5 days/week), raising my 15yr old and maintaining everyday responsibilities has made it difficult to spend the amount of time I'd like to working on my site and creating content frequently, but I stuck with it and did what I could and it worked, I made a sale.
COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!!!
The support and training offered here at WA really is amazing, I've accomplished so much in so little time and couldn't have done it without you folks, the WA community, the amazing training and trainers.
Thank you everyone!!!!

Hi GIRL, you are awesome!!! I can't relate more to you as I am too a full-time teacher and mom of two teenagers! I have been here for much longer than 6 months but only worked systematically for the last month and I am looking forward to my first sale. You have given me hope. Thank you :)

Congratulations, I cant even imagine my first sale yet as I am just starting that section of training. I will say that it all goes on for you from now on. You have broken the barrier. I would assume that Kyle would suggest that it might be a good idea to contact the buyer if possible and congratulate them, ie build rapport and you will have them for life.
BTW could you have a look at my latest post, and tell me your views. Thank you
