My progress so far!

Hey Guys!

So as instructed, i'm writing a blog to let you all know how i'm progressing so far. Well considering i have absolutely no computer skills and very little knowledge of websites, i expected to last a few days on here....

But it turns out that I'm actually the reincarnation of Steve Jobs!! Well not quite, but OMG, i have a website that i built from scratch! It's mental...its not close to being finished but it has content and is open for business!! I've had a few bumps along the way and have sometimes had to wing it in areas, but all in all, i'm really REALLY happy with how things are moving forward!!

I came to Wealthy Affiliate completely clueless around 2 weeks ago. I started off watching every video in course 1, following every instruction and slowly but surely getting myself that little bit closer to having my own wee business on the side to earn holiday pennies!

I chose Plus Size Sportswear as my niche. Its an area I can personally relate to and have struggled my whole life trying to find affordable, well fitting clothing. I love fashion and being able to help out others in the same boat, is such a fabulous bonus!

RIght now, i'm very much at start up stage and haven't generated any money yet. I have, however, had a lot of interest from facebook after posting my page on there to try generate some traffic. My main struggle is adding widgets to my site but I'm sure there's a lesson for that. Applying for affiliate approval has been so much easier than anticipated but i have had a few rejections because i'm just starting up. I'm just playing the waiting game now...learning as much a i can on here and adding content daily onto my site.

My 3 month and 6 month goals are going to be very similar, basically, adding and removing content as often as possible to keep my site fresh and hopefully generate enough traffic to make some sort of money each month.
