Who doesn't like a Party!
Day 7 of my membership has dawned and I just completed Phase 1 of Affiliate Bootcamp! Yay!!. I am pretty damn proud of my site www.netbizfortune.com, and I have been having fun interracting with some really awesome members along the way! Happy days!.
Of course I am very aware that today's glee may be replaced with an anxiety hair pulling session lol when I reach the next minor roadblock but I am patting myself on the back for small gains anyway. I am also very clear on the reality that my pride over my new creation (ie aforementioned website) is quite premature and it has a long way to go to be what it needs to be for my business goals.
Which brings me to what I was planning to write about today...gratitude. It has been written about a lot I know, what with Law of Attraction principles having been so freely grasped by so many in recent years and Oprah Winfrey drumming it into us during her ever so popular time on our tv screens. And it's an attractive principle let's face it (pun entirely intended ; ))
The thing about gratitude in my humble opinion though, is that it's quite a discerning principle.....well actually, it's downright picky damn it! lol. Thousands, somewhat amusingly, adopted the 'write down what your grateful for' every day model and sat back waiting for the fortune to roll in because they had made a pact with gratitude right? It was sure to come to the party now!.
Well......'party pooper' gratitude did not bring the bucks!. And so many turned their back on gratitude, because he/she is an untrustworthy character and one of those types who turns up at the party with nothing but a sheepish smile and a grab for other people's drinks and snacks!. We all know him right? lol.
Now gratitude, he/she just sat back and took it all in and laughed inwardly at the foolishness of those who felt the need to hold on sooo tightly to what they believed they deserved, and how easy it was for them to turn their back when what they wanted didn't turn up in the timeframe they had made. Gratitude knew full well that none of those people who turned away ever really took the time to know who she/he was anyway.
Gratitude is not a pact. Gratitude is not a 'guest who should bring gifts'. Gratitude exists with or without us, within and without of us, it's not a principle, it's a feature of the abundance of life. If you can't feel the abundance of life in a seedpod, in a leaf or infact in the invisible breeze as it brushes against your cheek, you will never experience the gifts that are not conditional, but essentially life in it's essence expressed.
It's great to write down what you are happy for in your life, purely as a reminder in times when things get tough, but I know for me, that gratitude is not welcome to my party, no way!. Gratitude IS the party and I welcome everyone, with or without drinks and snacks, and hope that every day we can see how lucky we truly are, right now.
You know, it's very easy to get lost in despair when we see our world appearing to be in such turmoil and people suffering terribly. I am quite a sensitive type by nature, that may be apparent lol, and it's very hard to maintain a positive focus sometimes. But something inside me tells me that it's in these times that I have to be in tune with gratitude most because that's where the triumph lies, not just for me but for the entire planet. It's not within my understanding to know the how but I trust that voice inside, it's saved me more than once, and it is the voice of gratitude.

I would say that I agree with you site as I looked and think it is great as well and you are right into boot camp and doing it well -
I am still waiting to start with boot camp and been here nearly six e]=weeks now but I will get there one day. Interesting comments about gratitude but I think it all comes from what you feel inside and the way you are with your self - I am thankful for the life and what it gives me OK somtimes are so very hard I know but then we start another day and as I said before history is history!!!
