My beginnings here at WA
When I first found out about WA community and got the courage to sign up, I thought I'm just going to take a look to see if there is something here for me. At first I didn't have the attention to build and have my own internet bussiness. Back then I thought I couldn't do it in my own language because of the lack of skills. But in english? Even less likely. I haven't practice talking and writing in english for soooo long. And for the past few days Google translate has become my new best freind :D I know I will have to improve it if I want to have a succesfull online bussiness. :)
So, in my first days here I was really excited and overwhelmed and very optimistic about my future in online bussiness. Everyone here is so helpful and encouraging, I have never experienced something like that before, especially not in my previous jobs, not even in my family and among my freinds. And what happened today? I didn't have excess to my computer all day and therefore I couldn't visit this page. During the day I had some conversation with my motherinlaw about working from home and building my own bussiness and the response wasn't optimistic at all... And it almost killed my enthusiasm. Until I got back here, read all the wonderfull wishes and support and I am back on the track. :)
I decided to keep my plans for myself, for now. I will upgrade my membership to the premium. And improve my english... And I WILL succeed online. Right? ;) :)

Hi Tanja,
I went through the same thing that you are going through with your family being against you making money online. Guess what I did about it? I showed them that I could do it and everything that they said about it I proved everyone of them wrong.
I also wasn't a very good writer either but I didn't let that stop me from being successful online. WA is such an awesome place to be! You truly have found the only place that will teach you the proper way to setup a very profitable online business.

I don't blame them... The parents. I understand them. They grew up different from us. They worked their whole lives for some average salary. And never know or think that they have an opurtunity for something bigger...
But I really need to believe that it is possible to do something I enjoy and have enough money for everything I want and need.

You are in good hands with Wealthy Affiliate! I can assure you that if you continue to follow the training, ask questions when you have them, and work hard at this you will start seeing some awesome results. I understand that family and friends feel this way but I would think that they would want to find a better way.
Stick in there and work hard at this and soon you will be on your way to a better life. If I can be of any help please let me know and I would love to help you out.

I don't think that your english is bad, but obviously the better you can get it, the easier it is for your sites visitors. If you need help with your english, I'm sure you could post a request here at WA and someone would help you, by reviewing your site especially focusing on the english language. Success happens here all the time. And the way to getting around objections from family and friends is to make it happen. You do that by following the training and dedicate yourself to implementing what you were taught.
Don't burn out though. People get really overly excited in the beginning (understandably so) and try to get too much accomplished and expect results too soon. No one can know for sure when it will happen for you but I can say that the chances of success are much greater when you have the right determination and drive and implement the techniques.
There will be stumbling blocks along the way. That's what we're here for. To help you get through them. Always ask any question you may have, whether it be business related or technical related, or you just need some encouragement. It's all part of the package!
We're glad to have you here and look forward to hearing your future success story (and about the apology from you Mother-in-Law :)

Hi Tanja, You are not alone. I felt the same when I joined three weeks ago. I started getting familiar with the site with the help of the everyone. From there it gave me confidence and I am quiet enjoying myself here right now.
