Pewdiepie Quits Youtube after reaching 50 Million Subscribers ?

There is a video going around saying Pewdiepie IS going to quit YouTube and delete his channel as soon as it reaches 50 million subscribers

If You don't know who Pewdiepie is, He is the No1 YouTuber that has made millions of $ from YouTube videos.

Here IS the Video here

Social blade says he makes an estimated £19.800 - £316.100 per month from YouTube Ad revenue alone.

Not including any sponsor or Affiliate stuff

I mean Common who in their Right mind would decide they want to stop that kind of income coming in?

He said the reason was because Google(youtube) have changed the way they display the home page, resulting in his videos not being show on the front page anymore

This means his views have gone from 3 to 4 million views per video upload, down to just 1.9 million views per video.

I know from experience on YouTube 1 million Views get you around $1000 or a bit less depending on where the views are from and if people have ad block or not.

So basic he is upset that he is only making $1900 per video instead of $4000 per video.

News Flash if you delete your channel you will drop to Zero, so I still don't know if he is bluffing or just trying to get YouTube to change back to the old way of displaying Videos

What do You think ?

Just another click bait... It's funny because he's making so much money from each video while my I'm helping a friend to set an affiliate page so he can get more $400... :D.

Speaking of the affiliate page (off topic, forgive me), if someone can recommend any tips... this is our inspiration page (it's not our page, but we take some ideas from this page), it's about plantar fasciitis shoes http://fixmywalk.com/best-shoes-for-plantar-fasciitis/

Thank you :)

He's creating a buzz to increase more viewers, who know it his tricks. If I am in shoes, I will not delete it, but instead, I will focus on helping folks who are making a video and hit the same viewers as his.

yeah, your probably right,

this is not the 1st time he has said he is quitting YouTube.
I can't see him going out his way to help others grow their channel .

however, if he does delete his channel it will open the doors for a lot of smaller channels.

He's probably just trying to draw more attention to himself.

It worked. :)

Or maybe he's just ready to retire.

You might be right, he might be just pushing so he can get to 50 million subscribers faster.

I don't think he is going to retire, he did say in the video he is not quitting youtube he is just deleting his channel and starting a new one.

Maybe he is doing what mike chang did and is going to sell his channel to someone and then start a new one lol

First, and probably last, video I'll ever watch of his. lol

Good luck to him trying to capture lighting in a bottle twice if he does delete it.

His fans should start unsubscribing to make him stay. ;)

Lol ,

I don't even watch his videos either, I did not even know who he was until the kids pointed out to me that he was the NO 1 YouTuber

If youtube stays the way it is now, it will give new comment to youtube a chance to grow their channel

If it goes back to the old way it will only benefit the established that have loads of subscribers.

So this is the perfect time to start a youtube channel is you do not already have one.

If they change back just to keep him, he will be king again.
