I Got My Own Products!

Hello everyone,

It's been three moths since I joined WA and I have yet to make a single sale, but I recently had a pleasant surprise. It's got nothing to do with WA, but eventually WA could play a big role.

Maybe about a month ago I was contacted by an e-commerce site based in San Francisco and they suggested that I send images of my artwork to be considered for their products: women's knit, top, dress, scarves, etc.

They are looking for designers (illustrators, painters, photographers, etc.)

I didn't write anything about art in my profile, but I started painting in 2004 and even sold one painting at a big art fair in New York in 2011.

But that is the first and last unfortunately, partly because I have not been able to spend time creating artwork since then.

There are several online portfolios where I have my profile and images of my artwork uploaded. So, that's how they found me. I don't know on which site they found me, but one thing I can say is, "You never know who is looking!"

I think I last uploaded new images to these sites around 2011-12, so it's been a while and I don't know how they found me. Just like most websites, anything new shows up on top.

Now these products - knit top, tee, etc. with my images on - are on sale, but I need to promote them. They also encourage each artist to promote via Facebook, Pinterest, etc. So, for this, I am fortunate that I have been here on WA for a couple of months and now feel like I know the basics of blogging and SEO. Had I not been here on WA, I would not have known how to promote effectively.

It's been two months since I started my blog on money making (promoting WA), but to be honest I don't yet feel comfortable writing about these topics as I am learning on the fly and writing about them.

But now as I am in the process of starting another site promoting this e-commerce site and writing about other stuff, I am confident I will feel more comfortable writing about it because I feel more like myself. But I will continue to learn here on WA and hopefully I will get to the same level of comfort in online money making niche.

I really thank WA for providing this fun online community that allows us to connect people from all over the world where we can learn Internet marketing in the comfort of our own home.
