My first week

OK, so this isn't technically my first week at WA, as you can see from my profile, I joined back in October 2015.

Like many of you I was looking for an alternative source of income. I currently work in investment management. I have been with the same firm for 12 years, its a small niche company and I think I've gone as far as I can go with this role. I started looking for other jobs but nothing really in the investment management sector interested me. I decided I wanted to do something for myself- but what?

So this is how I ended up at WA. I was also studying a Data Analyst course at the time so I decided to finish the course before starting this programme.

Now its now, I graduated from my Data Analyst course and I'm ready to begin the programme! I have also decided to document my progress, so others who are new to the community can see how someone else is doing, compare their progress and feelings regarding the programme.

I plan to write a blog as often as I can as a progress update.

Having no background in affiliate marketing, or making money online, initially the website seemed quite overwhelming, lots of little buttons, numbers that i'm not sure what they mean, confusion as to what to click on first and where to start, however once I'd explored the WA site I was good to go with my first certification.

A few days in and I have a niche, I have a website, I have the basic structure of my website, and initial content on 5 pages- this has taken me up to halfway through the second certification.

Admittedly, I'm keen to make my first £, I'm keen to quit my job but in all honestly I can only commit 2 hours per day to this. Hopefully that's enough, so that in a few months time I start to see some results.
