Taking A Step Back

Hello Everyone,

I am not quitting, but I think I need to take a step back. I have been working like crazy (for me) to write and publish articles on my website. I have published 10 in the last month (which is good for me). I have 4 outlines ready and 6 more ideas for outlines.

Although I have earned some commissions in the last month (small amounts), this is more than I have earned since the beginning of this website. (almost 2 years old)

But with the idea that just writing and publishing is not enough anymore and that we need to look for alternate ways to get traffic, I don't know if I am smart enough to pull this off. I have Pinterest working in my favor, but that is not enough.

I am not dumb by any means but with all that is involved I am just not sure.

So, I have decided to step back and work on some quilts instead. There is a pattern I am really wanting to try.

Maybe being away from the computer and clearing my mind from "business" will help. Who knows? But it may be just what I need right now.

I hope you all have a wonderful day, and I hope you see me again in the near future. lol

(Partha, I know you are going to miss me.) Hahahaha

Tai

Sometimes taking a break and focusing on other things is just what one needs. Enjoy the quilting and take care.

Hi Tai!

I am having an enjoyable afternoon sitting outside the RV working within WA creating content and enjoying the community. I came across your post.

Stick with it, you will get there! The great thing about the new HUBs platform is that it makes posting long tail content so much easier.

I just used the Hubs outline to create my post and then chatGPT to fill in the content. That saved the 1500-word point usage.

The post wound up to be 3300 words and I know it will index in 48 hours. Be sure all your content is indexed. If not go to Google Search Console and submit for index, if you are not already doing that.

Best wishes!!

Hi Tai

It's not a question of intelligence; it's more about the need to balance our lives to match our particular needs.

Taking some time off sounds good to me. I always add the things I enjoy doing to every day and would have no problem taking some time off from online marketing if the occasion calls for it.

Hope to see you back soon, 😎

Taking a break or a step away is NEVER a bad thing. You have to clear your head. The key is to not stay away for too long however.

For me, I go hard for the winter months, and then I enjoy my spring, summer and fall, albeit through work camping. :)
