New Website Almost Ready to Launch

I bought a domain name over a month ago. It is just sitting in my site manager. I haven't installed a theme yet.

I am going to go about this new website differently. I was gung ho with my last 2 but this one I am taking it slow.

I have 12 article ideas and keyword phrases ready with 1 outline. I am going to write these articles before even building the website.

The about me page is written and the logo designed.

I have never been a planner and maybe that is my problem. I have always been a spur of the moment kind of gal. Nor am I a very patient person.

But I am taking this slow and trying not to hurry things along.

Another reason I have put off launching this website is a while ago many were complaining that their new sites were coming up "deceptive".

Does anyone know if this has been resolved?

I am going to keep this website to myself. I will not tell you the niche nor the domain name. It will be my own little secret.(wish me luck I'm not very good at keeping secrets either. hahahaha)

I have learned from my mistakes. You need to plan out your website and not go willy nilly.

Meaning just throwing articles up with no structure. Topic clusters are important. After 5 years this has finally sunk into this old brain of mine. (thank you Diane and Partha)

So if you are new please don't do as I did but do as a I say and what I am doing now.

I know, about time right?

Thanks for reading

Tai

A plan sure makes it easier to create a website. I'm doing that now with our big site which could easily have thousands of pages and grow from there. Having a plan is my only hope to remain sane while creating content. I'm at 227 pages now and know what the next 106 will be. Hope your new site grows beautifully and is very successful for you.

Hi there, Taianne,

What a beautiful name. This has to be an original name, right?
Thank you for sharing the information pertaining to your website. So, glad that you made a conscious decision to start a brand new website with fresh eyes and a new mindset. It must be true that experience is the best teacher.

I'm curious to know what your goals and objectives are for this website. What would you like to achieve over the course of its lifetime? Also, how have you been managing the content creation process? Are there any strategies or tools that you use to help with this?

You do not need to send you rep. I will reach out to you in a private message, Some things are always better in private. Looking forward to hearing from you. The Best is Yet to Come.

Absolutely, my dear. There is no such thing as permanent failure. "Failure is hard, but turn those failures into learning experiences, so that you'll kook back and be happy that you failed, because you gained more knowledge from that experience. Sometimes it's clearly an indication to change your strategy instead of giving up completely." -Albert Rogers.

I couldn't agree more with Albert Roger's words. Every failure is a stepping stone to success. The key to success is to never give up and instead use each obstacle as an opportunity for learning, growth, and improvement. I believe that if you persistently strive towards your goals and keep learning from your experiences, eventually you will achieve your desired success. So never give up and keep striving towards your goals! Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I wish you all the best in life!

Best regards,
Rachele

Hi Tai,

If you ever get a deceptive site ahead, you can read about how I solved it.

First post about it: Second post on how I solved it without Site Support: It's a common thing with nothing to do with hosting. A common occurrence is with the Chrome browser. Its Google. They do this with other people who host elsewhere.

Tai, you can save these two posts I created that help you solve it when it happens.

I agree with the idea of going at it slowly. Patience is not my thing, either. It's a learning process. Do your best; that's all you can do.

If you have any questions, you can send me a PM.

it's good to plan how you're going to do something.

Sounds like a great plan, Tai! Good luck with everything going forward on the new site.
