Hi, everyone. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. My Christmas was great. But then, it is always great when I get together with my kids. The new year. Not so much.
My husband had a total knee replacement on December 29th. He came home on the 30th, and it has been chaos since then.
My kids have been wonderful bringing in meals, so that was one less thing I had to worry about. My husband's boss's wife even brought us some chili and cinnamon rolls.
But my activity here and working on my website has been a challenge. You see, my husband keeps me hopping.

Just when I sit down to do some research and writing, he needs something. He talks to me constantly to the point that I can't concentrate, so I just give up. He wants me to sit in the living room with him so that he can see me. When I do that, then we both will slip into a nap. No progress that way!
Plus, he has to go to therapy three times a week. That is a half-hour drive there and back. Plus the 30 minutes it takes to get him ready and loaded into the vehicle. I am not complaining. The man is in a lot of pain, and I try to help him the best that I can. Plus, he isn't used to non-activity. He is usually on the go constantly.
So, at the moment, he is not a happy camper.
It is just playing havoc with my productivity at the moment. But I know once he has control of the pain and is moving much better (he hates the walker), things will settle down.
I do pop in once in a while (when he allows me to) and stalk live chat. lol
In the meantime I am taking a short vacation from WA and hopefully in a few weeks I will be back and working on my website.
How is your New Year going?
