Hope everyone had a nice holiday
I had to spend it working at my craft so I could cover bills. I joined a couple of months back and wife wanted go back to work.
Staying home and taking care of my son and blogging without working my normal career of poker rounding was not working out. Needless to say, we were going broke. And I'm still learning to this with some effectiveness.
My wife is not really a career woman with limited expertise and could not make the kind of money we needed to cover all our cost. I couldn't even pay a measly $49 for my WA fees. So I had to go back to grinding at the card table to catch us up. No problem after a few phone calls to sponsors and a few weeks of travel. Back in the game, my poker career and WA. I figure I can still blog between tournament events. Anything is possible when we set your mind to it, right?
I'm not complaining about not having money, staying home, or even not yet having freedom to do as I please. Money is easy to come by, there is plenty of it. Just have to have a tool to get it.
I would like to reintegrate. This is the reason I did choose to do this. So, down the road I can have some freedom, and not have to rely on jobs, such as my wife tried that can't cover bills and normal living cost for our lifestyle.
Bottom line for anyone's struggles, stay the course. Have some faith in something. In my case, it's my poker skills and knowing if I keep at this, I will have more choice with my time.
Have a nice New Year. Thanks for listening or reading. :)
