In the beginning.

Ok, I've never blogged before. I'll be honest, don't even know if I'm gonna do it right....like, are there certain thing I'm supposed to say or not say? I'm just gonna treat it like an online window to my thoughts. If you like and wanna read, please do and leave me comments or whatever. I'm planning on using the blog to document my journey, so to speak. Best place to start is at the beginning right? So let me jump right into who I am, my family, and what brought me to this point in life...

I am 29 years old and am currently unemployed. I've lived in Arizona my whole life and have too extensive of a family to really get into. I've worked in several different industries over the years, so I have a few skills under my belt but no real career. I met my husband when we were in high school, but we didn't start dating until 2005. We were married 2/14/12 which was Arizona Centennial and of course Valentines Day. Another fun fact about our wedding date, its a palindrome..the same forwards and backwards :-) We welcomed our son Jaxson into the world on 9/14/13. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 box tortoises...I know, quite an ark. We rent a 3 bedroom home, and have a roommate. Although Scott works full time and our roommate does his part, we still have problems making ends meet. We juggle the bills and sometimes decide to let things get shut off because we live penny to penny. We have 1 used vehicle that we use to get around in, and let me tell you it needs some TLC to survive.

2015 has been a challenging year for us. In January I lost my dad and was faced with making decisions I never thought I'd have to. I am still trying to recover. I was..am...a Daddies girl, so watching him go is probably the hardest thing I've done. Shortly after that is when I lost my job. This in turn set forth a stressful chain of events..we were no longer able to afford to stay where we were. We lost our home and had to move across the state to be closer to friends and family that we could lean on. Now we are all adjusting to our new life. New house, new job for Scott and Jon (our roommate) and me adjusting to my new role of stay at home mom/wife. I'm looking for ways to help bring in money from home when I stumble onto Wealthy Affiliate. So here I am, going thru the training, doing what I can for my family. Here's to hoping this step stone will lead me thru the doorway I need to move forward in life. The journey is half the battle right?
