Aesop’s Fable and Affiliate Marketing
“The North Wind and the Sun disputed which was the more powerful, and agreed that he should be declared the victor who could first strip a wayfaring man of his clothes. The North
Wind first tried his power, and blew with all his might; but the keener became his blasts; the closer the Traveller wrapped his cloak around him, till at last, resigning all hope of victory, he called upon the Sun to see what he could do. The Sun suddenly shone out with all his warmth. The Traveller no sooner felt his genial rays than he took off one garment after another, and at last, fairly overcome with heat, undressed, and bathed in a stream that lay in his path.”
Persuasion is better than Force.
- Aesop's Fables
I think that’s why I like Affiliate Marketing using blogs because it’s like weaving a tale and gently highlighting the benefits of a product, while allowing the consumer to make an informed decision about the product offering. It’s subtle, smooth and effective. I remember back in the days when I did Network Marketing, boy! Why did they always make you list all your friends and frenemies, people you hardly knew and people you really didn’t know; and you had to call them and tell them about this “new thing.” I still get calls from some of my old networking buddies; they seem to be finding something new all the time. Affiliate Marketing is so “Zen” you do what you do in private and then the results start showing out like the rays of the shining sun and then you just glow! Yes it is a HOT seat because you have to do all the work, keep motivated, keep producing but there is no exerting force or going after people with a script.
Keep Shining to your Success!

Good to hear again this fable which reminds us of the truth about affiliate marketing. Let's all always be good in our business.
Great thoughts
Well told.
Network Marketing I tried , but what a failure as a way of earning!
No pleasure, only pressure, no real help and people concerns no existent, only garage full of unsold products too expensive for people to consider.
I lost a lot of money, no profit or satisfaction, only hype.
Stick with the pleasures of WA training and lovely WA family from all over the world.

Great post! I like your comments about persuasion and the business being so "Zen", I never did like network marketing, I am looking forward to the persuasion technique!
