I upgraded my membership, and it is still a great journey to be here!

Hi everyone,
Finally, I want to change the theme and the brand of my website.
I have some questions! Do you have any experience of changing the brand, and what have
Hi Sylvia
My experience of changing theme was that my site was somehow disconnected from GA and GSC. That is something to watch closely, you may have to re-enter the code.
In terms of changing your brand, what are your plans there? If it is just to update and refresh your brand image, I would use the changes as a marketing opportunity. You could write posts with teasers talking about how you are going to unveil the new look at feel. You could also email your list.
Hope this helps.
Louise
I'm with Louise on this, I decided to go with Thrive Themes because, their plugin negates all and any frustrations you have or experience with the restrictions imposed by both free and paid Templated thermes.
Thank you very much, Louise! I know what you mean. I have experienced this initially with another website; luckily, I had only a few contents on my website. I want to change the theme, logo, brand, colors, everything to make it more professional. I hope it will go well! :)
That is great, Dave! Thank you very much! I will check out this theme. II tried GeneratePress and Astra, and Ashe, but I don't really know. Thank you for the tip! :)
No worries, I have had GPP and Astra. Astra's support has waned in recent months and is not longer cutting the mustard.
What I like about Thrive is that it is Bootstrap which means you can design any type of website, from scatch and it looks lovely. You can view mine on my profile for an example of how it can look.
One thing I will say for it, is having experienced the frustrations you are now, switching themes rekindled my enthuisam for blogging and writing on my blog, which had fallen right away
Thank you, Dave! I have visited your site, and it looks great! I will try out Thrive as well! I hope that the rebranding will rekindle my enthusiasm as well. I struggle too at the moment!
Have a beautiful weekend! :)
Hi Sylvia,
It's great to see you. It's been a while.
I rebranded my site. If it includes changing the URL it affects your ranking for a bit.
But it will pick up again.
The search engines will be notified by the redirect on the site.
Hope this helps.

Hi Candy, Thank you very much! I have been working more on my sites instead of participating at the platform because I needed to decide about my time; otherwise, it would be too much for me, which gives me stress.
It is great to see you too, Candy! I hope very much everything is going well for you!
My website, name theme, is not very effective, so I decided to change, rebrand everything. Thank you very much for your response! :)
Sylvia I completely understand. I stepped away months ago for the same reason.
It helps to focus on personal business growth.
Good luck with your rebrand. Just be sure you do your research well.
Of late I have been learning about brand colours an I am considering working on my site where this is concerned
My rebranded didn't include this. Yes I changed the colour but rebramding goes deeper.
May I suggest doing some reading on this as well before you proceed?
Have fun with it.
Candy Benn
Thank you very much, Candy! Yes, I will thoroughly read the information and then decide! :)
Hi, Sylvia. I stopped engaging here on the platform for the same reason...
As for the rebranding, I want to do the same, but I’m scared to lose my rankings. I have a lot of pages ranking on page 1. Imagine losing all of that now
Well if are serious about it the longer you wait the worst it will be. The best time to rebrand is early. I suggest doing some research to learn how best to do this with the minimum amount of impact.
Candy Benn
Yes, Warren, I understand! You will not lose the rankings!
I hope you are doing fine! :)
The site redirect helps. You lose ranking only with the new URL.
I kept my old URL intact with the redirect for the entire year as a result.
I did some more searches on this this morning and saw a few sites explaining how to minimize the loss in rank. There is certainly loss in rank as long as the rebranding includes a change in URL.
However here is some advise on why Branding is the way to go.

Thank you, Candy! This helps me so much! I will keep my old URL and change the theme, brand name, tagline, and logo. May I ask you which theme you have? :)
Sylvia after a few switching around all of my sites now run on generate press.
Candy Benn
That is called rebranding, which is really a good thing if you want to do some major things that will impact your business positively. I am in the process of doing so as well as changing everything, such as the colors, logo, images, etc.
So, you mean, it is not a problem to do that, for rankings, traffic? Thank you very much!:)
Normally it won't affect your site's indexing and traffic. However, you have to be careful while changing things and make sure to back up your site. Rebranding depends on your goals, but giving your visitors a fresh, better look is always welcome and common practice.
