I am from Germany, but I am living in the Netherlands. Before I came to the Netherlands I have lived in Dublin , Ireland. My profession is a trained nurse. After working so many years as a nurse I would love to work as an affiliate. I already tried to build a website or to blog, but I don't really have the idea for a beginning. My passion is about lifestyle, healthy nutrition, sports, moving anyway, clothing, home interior design, but also travelling, nature, my little garden with all the beautiful animals. So quite a lot ;-)

Good afternoon and welcome to the WA family.
Those are excellent goals you have set yourself, but remember that there is a lot of work ahead, so the more time and effort you put in, the more you will gain. It takes time to get a successful website up and running, so you need to have patience and not give up.
Enjoy the excellent quality training from Kyle and just ask if you have any questions as we are all here to help you and each other to achieve our goals.

Creating goals is an important first step. After that, I suggest taking advantage of the well-designed and systematic training provided here at WA. When you have questions, don't be afraid to ask the talented and helpful mentors here for us.
If you follow the training diligently and use the many resources at Wealthy Affiliate, you will see steady progress. Good luck with moving toward your goals.
Best regards,
Joe

Hi Silvia, it's a pleasure to meet you and follow you back. My husband is full German but he was born and raised in the states. He has never even been to Germany, but he is proud to be one:)
My daughter is a traveling nurse but only here in the states. She had a trip planned to backpack across Europe when Covid hit and had to cancel. But someday she will get there I hope.
You sound like you have many passions. That makes life interesting I am sure.

Hi Lynn! Thank you very much! That is really beautiful! Does your husband speak German too? Maybe you will visit Germany one day and investigate where his parents are coming from, and visiting family in Germany. I have the same with the States. There is still family of us living in Montana. Years ago they came over and visited all the places and my parents. I would love to meet them, but they don't speak German anymore.
I believe your daughter is still very young, so she has lots of time to travel to Europe. Covid will never disappear; we need to live normal again.
I wish you every success! :)

No, my husband doesn't speak German, and neither did his parents. Once when we were dating, we met his great-great grandparents (I think that's who it was) who came over from Germany to visit. they didn't speak any English so it was difficult for us to communicate.
But we did have a German exchange student for a year back in 2009. I will just say, it was interesting. I don't think he liked living with us very much. I kind of tried to learn some German when he was here, but I didn't get very far. And I don't remember any of it now, except "Nine," the word for "No" We used that word when telling our German Shepherd "no"
We do talk about going to Germany some day, but as of yet, we have not made any plans. Obviously, we aren't as young as my daughter, but hopefully it can still happen. We would definitely want to look into his heritage if we came.
I wish you all the best at WA, Silvia, and I'm sure I will "see" you around.

Sorry, I nearly forgot to answer you! Yes, that isn't easy to communicating when both sides speak a different language. I have experienced this here in the Netherlands with my husband's family. I understood them very well because Dutch and German are similar, but I couldn't talk with them. They didn't speak any English, so that too has complicated the whole visit! Now I speak Dutch, so it doesn't matter anymore.
You really should visit Germany; it is a beautiful country. The young people speak English. In the Netherlands, most people speak English. That makes it simpler.
Have a beautiful Sunday!:)

Hi Sylvia,
Thank you for following me. I have also previously tried affiliate marketing, a number of years ago but I believe that WA will help me to succeed. I have already learned a number of new things about affiliate marketing and I am grateful to have access to this platform and others on here who are willing to share. I also don't have a start yet as I am still looking for my specific niche.
I look forward to reading about your success in the future. :)

Herzlich willkommen Sylvia,
I lived in Germany a long time ago. So I have the privilege to visit most of the European countries. Germany is a nice country.
I used to go to school in Bonn. I saw that you lived in many places that are nice. It also will help you to learn about different cultures and languages. which is very good for your new business.
Wish you all the best. Thanks for following me.
